Falling
Confusion flutters in your mind as you dream of falling and pain. You shoot awake with the sensation of slipping. The rock ledge is about to give way where you lay and as it does you scramble to hold on to the mountain. All attempts are in vain and you plummet toward the ground again. A rock catches your side and cuts you slightly. Another does the same across your cheek and a final one leaves you far from the land, falling far away from the side of the mountain. In the open air you flutter about, trying to right yourself and stop your free fall. Taking massive amounts of air under them, your battered wings give you pause during your decent and catch you from your downward spiral.
