Technically this is a transformation book in that some of the characters do take on animal forms. While I enjoyed the story their was not much actual transformation
While I would recommend the book as a good read it is not recommend from the point of view of transformations.
I think a number of characters could of been cut without losing the main story
One thing I found interesting though was the reference to the Orlando airport. This was the airport that I went through on my trip so I actually got the references
Also while I was disappointing that the tiger was mean, because it is based on myth I would of been disappointed if it was not
