I am very conflicted writing this review. On the one hand the transfomation is some of the best but the story is not the best.
Transformation wise their are multiple mentions of how dogs see the world differently(I.e cats are for chasing, smells etc). These are woven into the narrative without distracting from it.
Story wise though, their is no conclusion. No big event that makes this book. It is just a series of events that could happen to any child(except for the turning into a dog).
In conclusion I can only recommend this book for it's transformation. If you want a story look elsewhere
