What is Important?
Light flows through dust as you glance around the utterly empty shop, out to the utterly empty wilds outside. Are they really empty, or is everyone just waiting for something?
Regardless, you feel no guilt in taking a free sample of something from the fridge--no shopkeep could possibly become irate over taking something they offered for free, after all... yeah.
What to choose, then? There're cans and potions and metallic jinglies, inexplicably put into the fridge as well. But what intrigues you most is a little ice cube sitting on an ornate carved glass plate. You can see the point of the other things, but an ice cube just seems silly, so you pick it up and hold it in your hand, figuring that if it's a dud, then no harm done; no free sampler you've ever met begrudged you a second serving.
Surprise and bewilderment! The small, frosted over trapezoid begins to sizzle and hiss, causing you to drop it in alarm. The cube hits the dusty grey-brown wood of the shop and explodes into a glittery grey mist that swirls about you and flows groggily down the shop's aisles. From out of the mist, a disembodied voice that sounds exactly like Sean Connery says:
"What is important?"
'What's important?' Kind of a vague question, but you're an honest person, so you scratch you head, shuffle a foot and say "Well, to me..."
