Explore The Town
You nod once, but take a quick glance to the Town. On the one hand, learning to steer your ship sounds pretty important, and on the other, exploring the town and getting to know the place sounds pretty important too. You’re only staying a week anyway.
“Actually, I think I’ll use tonight to explore the town.”
She nods. “Good to get your bearings first. There will be other jobs offers, I’m sure. If you change your mind, come back to me within the next two hours.”
You falter, remembering you don’t even have so much as a pocket watch. “Uh…”
Miirym points to the sky, where the sun rests at the mid-point of morning. “Noon.”
You nod to signal your understanding, then watch her descend from your ship. You take another look out across the Dragon’s Island. It’s a good size town, but even with all the various buildings, you can tell that for all of them, the windows and doors are quite large. Dragon-size, so to speak.
“AHOY!”
You blink at the call, and peer over the edge. That human that tied your ship from before is back.
“You’re not going with Miirym?”
“I want to explore the town!” You call back down.
“Need a guide?”
