Offer Your Phone
Unfortunately, you don’t have many material possessions on yourself right now, and you doubt that offering your clothes would go over well with the shrine. That said, you do have a cell phone, and as a solid staple of humanity that should get the point across fairly well: that you want to be human.
Trying not to notice how delicate your hands are, you gingerly place your phone in the shrine. For a moment, nothing happens. Then, that blue light begins to shimmer again, flickering through the glade as words begin to form along the stone.
‘In surrendering a human possession, you surrender more of your humanity. Your offering is appreciated, as is your decision to become guardian of this shrine.’
