Go to the Crown
Jake remained undeterred. He had gotten this far, even with the howls and roars raking his mind. He could finish this.
He began the ascension, and even as he did, those thoughts continued to bombard his sanity and mind.
Why leave…?
Why leave this place where you can truly indulge?
Where you can truly experience happiness?
WHY GO BACK…??!
He clutched his head and let out a pained roar…NO! He couldn’t stop! He was so close…just a few more steps and it would all be done. And he could go home. Jake took another step, silencing the roars to quell them with a few thoughts.
What is the point on senseless genocide?! What’s the point in killing left and right without any hesitation?!
That was enough to give him the strength and determination to reach the top of the stairs, where the crown was, and the throne.
The throne was immaculate, made of a chorus of gems and other jewels embedded into its red, posh frame and avoiding the seat itself.
The crown…it was large, and covered with color changing gems. A single star rested atop it, accenting its status as the crown that was the end to his journey.
