Katie nods ands stuffs himself back into his pants, huffing with exasperation as he holds himself "Hopefully... Theo? Can you hold me tonight?" He looked at you in the eyes and tried to settle his emotions. "I just want to feel like who I'm supposed to be for a while. Is that... is that okay?"

 

You look in your friends eyes and somply utter the most simple answer you can think of to express your thoughts. "Yes. Absolutely, yes."

 

Nodding slowly and hugging you close against him as he lays down on the sofa, Katie tries to make as much room as he can, burying his muzzle against you before snuffing out the oil lamp on the floor. "Thank you, Theo. For everything. Thank you."

 

You smile and hugs him tight "Thank you too."

 

Moments later, two lost souls wander together in the world beyond worlds of sleep.
