“Not today scammer.” Daniel sat down on her hunches. Waving her off with a talon. If it sounds too good to be true, then it was. Simple as that.
“Good choice.” A deep, but feminine voice washed over her from behind.
“GH!” Daniel jumped back and twirled around. Facing a brown and gold feather sphinx.
“Jumpy. We'll work on that.” She nodded swaying the gold beaded headdress she wore.
“Anat?” Daniel asked guessing at her name. She sounded like a teacher her voice filled with superiority, and telling her what she needed to work on.
“Follow me.” She turned without a word. Walking through the parted but still excited group. Glancing at Annie, Daniel got a nod that look more like a head bang from a rock groupie. Shaking her head Daniel sighed. Only she would end up in a school while falling into another world, and changing species, oh, and her sex. Running to catch up, Daniel followed behind Anat. Wondering what life would swing her way next.
