In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Fictional Land
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are two more doors however and both of them have a sign on them saying
Costume room for
Element: Land
Type: Fictional
Gender: ????
So which door do you want

Female Fictional Land
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are five costumes in this room, all of them female, all of them are fictional land creatures.

Lucario
You grab a pokemon costume. The instant you do you start to change.
Your skin changes colour to black with a yellow patch on your belly and blue around the ears and arms.
You try to remove the costume but it is stuck. You ears become pointy and move to the top of your head.
You whimper as the changes speed up. Your mouth and nose push out into a muzzle taking your eyes with it.
You look at your hands as they change into paws with a spike out the back.
You look at yourself in a conveniently place mirror as the gender change take hold.
Your chest region grows as the 3rd spike appears. Similar changes occur at the groin region. You are now female.
As your hands move over your body the final changes take place leaving you a female Lucario.
You look around as the room fades and you find yourself in the pokemon world.

Your a Wild Pokemon now
You find yourself in the woods. you look around and see many Pokemon. you are just like them now. you think this will be a hard week being a Wild pokemon. no real home. it will be like camping in the woods without a tent. It starts to rain and hard too. you have to get under something before your fur gets soaked and get sick. You look around some more and you see some building through the trees. it must be a Town. You smile and run for the town, but as you make your way to the edge of the woods you remember one thing. there are Pokemon trainers there and they may try to catch you. You look back into the woods. a week in the woods...or a risk going to the town for better shelter.

Just barely getting by...
You decide to take your chances in the woods, at least until you find a decent trainer. You don't exactly trust in your ability to hold off an assault of Poke balls for very long, and you shudder to think what would happen if you came under the possession of a horrid trainer, like Silver, from the earlier Pokemon games. Or is that just the rain soaking your fur? You decide to hurry and get out of the rain, but you're surprised when the rain suddenly cuts off, as suddenly as it'd begun. Could that rain have been from someone using Rain Dance? you think to yourself. Well, it doesn't matter anymore. The past is the past, and there's no point in dwelling on it. You set out to start your new life in the woods. Without even a moment's notice, you look for food. You know full well that you won't survive long without it.
Before long, you spot a few berry bushes bearing plentiful stock in their branches. One of them has what looks like juicy red bunches, but upon closer inspection, you find them the be the deadly venomous kind. One of the other two, you recognize, is an Oran Berry bush. You gladly pick a few and eat them, but as you go to pick more to take with you, you realize you have nothing to carry them with. You don't have long to think about it, because you hear someone shouting from a distance past your line of sight.
"HEY GET BACK HERE WITH OUR FOOD!!" Not even a moment later, a pair of Pichus blast full speed ahead through the undergrowth, carrying a pair of small sacks with them, and not looking where they're going. They run right into you, dropping the bags and falling over. You pick up the bags and look into them, finding a heavy helping of rice balls.
Holy cow! These guys hit the Mother Load! you think as you look at them. You could just take off right now, and be set for the whole week. But then the little guys would have their work of taking them in the first place be utterly ruined. Maybe you could help them out, and then share for a while? Or maybe you should teach them a lesson, and get them to give the food back...
