Dreams
Afterward you bid her farewell and call it a day then head home to take a much needed rest after staying up all night. As you head for your hut people come up and start talking with you about all sorts of things including the ceremony the day after tomorrow, the boar you killed, and your talk with the old magic user at the edge of town. After about ten minutes you're finally left alone and are able to walk into your hut where you fall onto your bed and slip into a deep, much needed sleep.
As you sleep you start dreaming of the past. You go back to your conversation with the old wizard in the shop to start. You go back through the entire conversation then your dreams change to when you first walked into the shop and started looking around at all the different costumes. Your dream changes yet again and this time you go even further back to where a friend tells you about the costume shop and your reason for going to the shop in the first place. Then you end up going back to when you were a child in your home town. You start remembering what happened when you were a child and everything that happened at that time. Whether it was living on a farm with your family, playing in a small town with friends, or running through the streets in a big city with people you knew.
