In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Sand beneath the paws
<SpanFullTF> Before you lay many a costume, but what grabbed your attention amongst this grouping was a curious sort of vulpine. Sandy colored with rather large ears with swirling tattoo like markings on it's forehead and ears. The costume was rather small for your size, part of what was curious about it compared to the others and grabbed attention.
A simple poke of curiosity, stroking the velvety soft fur. It was cute, but how could one wear such a thing? A simple silly thought entered your mind, bringing you to pull the costume off it's resting place. You open it, slipping a hand inside as best you can. Very tight, perhaps for a child, you think.
The head was large enough to place upon your own, the hole of the costume seemed to stretch to fit onto your head. There was little chance this would fit on you. Moving to take the costume off, you feel a sudden twinge of static from it, your skin bristling with goose bumps. The head would not come off!
The energy seemed to increase, the room around you fuzzing up to some degree in your vision. The costume starting to open up around you, still too small for you to wear but it was intent on trying. As you wonder how it could possibly be doing these things or how it thinks it could fit you, you notice that the room is starting to seem a little bigger than you remember.
This was worrying, and the costume was starting to slip on. The head slipping over your own as your body shrank in size, smaller and smaller and yet you felt nothing in regards to lost age. The handpaws opened and engulfed your own, arms in arms, legs in legs, it was tight to fit but you were wearing it for certain now. Very odd, the costume had to have only been about Three foot in height or so, not counting the ears!
The tingle hit hard, you could feel the costume pressing tightly to you, the world through it's eyes starting to clear. Your skull pressed down and out as a muzzle began to grow to match the costume's own, thankfully without any pain, only mental discomfort at the realization of what was occurring. You could feel fur sprouting all along, and the air itself on the costume began to feel as if were not even there.
Your ears began to stretch and grow, and grow, and grow some more! Tall, wide ears fit for a fennec, sounds of the room you never even knew started to ring in your ears. The movement of fur on fur, the cracking of skin and bone as your fingers shortened slightly, growing claws and black pawpads. Your legs buckled, shifting stance in an awkward way, sending you off balance.
Balance was found soon however, as your spine extended into the tail, growing long fluffy bottlebrush fur along it into your own fox tail, which flicked about on instinct to help keep you from falling. Your feet buckled as well, pressing upwards on your toes as your heels grew up and back, forcing you into a digitgrade stance, your toes pulling into four toed paws to accommodate. Claws from your toes, pawpads growing in, but curiously a layer of sandy brown fur growing out from around and on the pads themselves.
Your teeth were shifting, growing longer, sharper...a curious taste for insects, reptiles, and rodents pressing at your mind. your nose turning black, wet, scents of the room, of yourself, filling your nostrils. There was some strange feeling as the changes finished, looking down you could tell you were quite male, although modest thanks to a silky desert robe that partly covered your form now. <spanFullTF>
<spanSumTF> A strange and unusual change, shrunken and shited into a three foot tall, Male anthro fennec fox wearing a silky desert robe for modesty. <spanSumTF>
The world around blurred once again, you fell a bit dizzy, falling onto your fuzzy rump as things whited out around you. It was not long before you woke back up to the sting of hot air and sand beneath your paws, a hot desert laying out before you. To your east, the scent of water, food, people...but even stronger were the sounds! you could hear many people talking, animals calling out, you could hear running water and even the sand roiling in the wind around you.
A city stretched out for miles around the oasis, marble and golden stone buildings and spires, elegant and regal. People of many races milling about, all anthros like yourself, even a rare taur and talking feral creature. What strange place did you land in?
You stand up, feeling the sand beneath your paws, the fuzzy on the padding keeping them cool. You, the three foot anthro fennec fox, had quite a new, perhaps temporary life before you. You have to ask yourself...what will you do now in this odd place?
