You frown. “That’s silly! I bet I could come up with a spell to do that right now!”

 

“Have you had any experience with coming up with new spells or have you just been casting from writings?”

 

“Yes, I have! Just give me a few minutes,” you say, and you’re already thinking about how to make it work.”

 

“Ok” she says nervously “I have a room where you can experiment in, is shielded so any magic can’t escape. You can use this tome as a test subject, it’s one I have two copies of.”

 

She hands you a blank tome and the duplicate copy.
