In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Centaur
You walk over to fairly large mount of chestnut cloth. You decide to wear the costume.
You first slip your feet into the costume's legs. Next, you pull the rest of the costume up to your waist. Fasten the belt buckle to hold it in place. All signs of the fasteners dissolve back into the furry fabric in a flash green light.
You feel your legs and feet change shape as your feet remold themselves into hooves. The rear portion of the costume expands in volume, taking on a barrel shape. You feel hind legs grow and extend behind you. A pushing sensation at the base of your now very lengthy spine is felt, as a silky black tail forms.
You remember that this was the female room but the next change is still a shock to you.
You quiver a little as your internal plumbing begins to rework itself. You groan and cup your chest as it begins to swell. Two breasts grow underneath your shirt, and drop to your knees at the new sensations going through your body, as your breasts and new female organs complete their formation.
Your new centaur body feels both strong and somewhat awkward. You take a few wobbly steps forward, it is difficult to manage four legs instead of two. But you soon get used to moving in this way.
The boundary of the room dissolves away. A spectacular view of a grassy meadow and a dark forest beyond greets you.

The forest
You blink, trying to make your eyes adjust to the darkness. You hear a whispering around you, but can't seem to place it. It's almost as if the whole forest is whispering.
There's a rustling in the bushes, and a centaur steps in front of you.
It's a male centaur. He has a chestnut coat, long, brown hair, and a bare chest. He steps forward slowly, and holds out his hand. "Welcome to the forest," he says.
You try to remind yourself that you used to be a man, and that you'll probably turn back at some point. Ah, to heck with it, you think. For now, you're a girl, and you might as well enjoy it.
You take his hand.
"You seem nervous," the centaur says.
"Is this your first transformation?" You nod. The centaur laughs good-naturedly. "I've been all over the map. I was a male dolphin, a female hawk, a female dragon...I could go on and on...Would you like me to show you around.?" AND your response is...

Ryan
The male centaur, whose name you learn is Ryan, takes you around the forest. He shows you the various trees and plants, the best shrubs and berries for eating, cool clearings, the best spots to sleep...time flies, and you realize that you've been with Ryan for seven days. Time is kind of funny in this world.
Ryan takes you to a small clearing in the center of the forest. Flowering trees overhead give the clearing an intoxicating aroma, and in the center, the blossoms fall into a stone basin filled with shimmering water. Ryan turns to face you.
"There's something I need to tell you," he says, "I love you. I love you, and I want us to be together, here in this forest, as centaurs, forever. If we drink this water, we can be. There are three places in this world that will make a transformation permanent. This is one of them."
Your mind is racing. You remember that, in three days, you can find another costume, and morph again. Or, apparently, you can drink the water, and spend the rest of your life as a centaur with Ryan.

Moving On
"I'm sorry," you say, "but I don't want to be a centaur forever. I want to go back to my world someday."
"I see," Ryan answers gravely. "I'm going to find another costume. I've been a centaur for longer than a week." As he says this, Ryan turns, and vanishes into the brush.

Horsing around
Ryan is gone.
You sit pondering by the basin for a while before it really sinks in. Even though you didn't want to be with him forever as a centaur, you were quite taken with the guy and wouldn't mind meeting him again some time. Maybe in some other form you wouldn't mind sharing forever...
Whoa girl! Or boy, or whatever you used to be. This isn't about eternal commitment, it's about playing a game, getting prizes and hopefully going home one day.
Home... you try to think of your old home, your family and friends, but it's all a blur. Of course that could just be because you were distracted by thinking about Ryan...
Come to think of it, you haven't seen any other centaurs around. Were you and Ryan the only ones in this forest? Then you are the only one now - does that mean you win the round or something? You wish you had read the rules better, but at the time you were too impatient to do more than skim them. And there is no one around to ask...
Then it really sinks in. You Are Alone. Without a guide. Ryan told you lots of small things to make life easier, but the only really important thing he told you (well, apart from his declaration of love) was about this water.
And that there were two other places like this.
He never told you what these places were, or how they worked. Sure, they could be other places with magic water, but then again they could be something entirely different. Fruit to eat. Grass to roll in. Flowers to smell. The way Ryan phrased it, anything you haven't done before could cause you to trap yourself by accident.
You gaze thoughtfully at the water. It looks innocent enough, and you wonder idly how much a centaur of your size would have to drink for it to work. You notice a couple of metal cups standing to the side. One cup? Two?
You feel thirsty.
You wonder what the water tastes like.
Overcome by curiosity, you carefully dip a fingertip in the water and let a drop fall on your tongue.
It tastes like water.
Apart from making you slightly less thirsty, the water does not seem to have any other effect in such small quantities.
But then...
