The signs hanging around were what had interested you the most. They were scrabbled in a tongue you were unfamiliar with, but you could imply what the markings on the doorways were about by their appearance. A fish. A staff. A book. There was clearly a bit more than you understood going on here, so you decided that the only appropriate choice was to get to know more of the people around this village you were trying to integrate into. You were a pescitarian after all!
“How bout a tour? I’d like to get to know some more people around here if you don’t mind” he didn’t seem the most ready for that answer, looking around, he tried to find the msot interesting things he could find about his village- something indicative of his culture.
“I can show you the congregation building if you’re interested!” ‘Congregation building?’ though you didn’t say it aloud, the young man was able to easily pick up on your confusion, which fueled his response. “It’s where we all go to meet up on occasion to listen to people talk about their experiences.” now your interest was sparked. What will you do?
