Look around
You had no time for this folly, you needed to get out of this situation on your own, the skunk taur looked a bit disappointed as you wandered off into the deep depths of the mines. They all figured that you would die down there, never to be seen again. Unbeknownst to them you had a journey to take care of, and after miles of searching through tunnels after tunnels, you had discovered a large cavernous type of room. Looking around you realized that there was something most definitely hidden here. Finally! You were almost at the end of your rope as you desperately searched for your one final and magical ticket out of this fever dream of a transformation.
As your eyes adjusted to the even darker yet humongous room, you noticed something sticking out of the ground. The top of it sparkled like jewels, and for a moment you actually thought it was so, but as your fingertips ran over the hard wooden structure of its top, you realized that it was actually buried treasure!
With your fingernails, you dug and dug, until you were finally able to breach the ground of the enormous box lodged halfway in. It was surprisingly lighter than you would have expected, a telltale sign that this was exactly what you were looking for.
Suddenly, you realize that the thick wooden clip was locked tightly down, rendering it unable to be opened. Your mind began to race, and you looked around for heavy rocks to try smashing the box open with. It took the last of your energy to hoist the stone upwards just to pummel the metal hold on the treasure chest, but alas it was protected by some kind of magic. Taking a seat and realizing that you had come so close, yet you were still so far, you thought to yourself for hours in the darkness as the energy began to drift away from your body.
With closed eyes, you slept, slowly you were unable to tell if you were sleeping or if you were awake, and as the darkness closed in around you slowly, you had eventually drifted away for the last time
