In a room
The sign reads
"Welcome all new travellers.
To continue you must go through a series of doors.
After going through you will pick a costume. You will then become a half- human and half that creature.
After a week(100 mins a hour,20 hrs a day,10 days a week) has passed you may morph and get another costume. To start of with you will only be able to become 40% human to 60% human.
If you put on a costume you will then become that creature, be teleported to it's home town and have to wait a week before being able to morph.
After 50 costumes you may change into one of your other costumes and become 30% to 70% human. When changing costumes you must wait at least an hour before you can change costumes again.
100 different species/gender costumes allows you to gender-morph and become 20% to 80% human
200 different species costumes allows you to combine costumes and become 10% to 90% human
400 different species costumes allows you to return to your world with no more morphing
And 800 different species costumes makes a polymorph and allows you to morph outside of this world.
Also if you have a costume like a centaur then the human part will always be human and is counted towards the human percentage.
Any gender/species transformation magic of yours can only change your gender(if you have at least 100 costumes) and the animal part to a different animal.
When you change into a different costume (that you already have) you may teleport to that species home town but you will have the week penalty where you have no costume changes.
If you die while wearing a costume you will be reborn at the local inn (or appropriate location ). If you have more then 100 costumes you will lose the costume you had when you died and go to an appropriate place for your next costume.
If you fail to make it out in 100 years(100 weeks in a year) one of your possible forms will be chosen and you will be permanently stuck in that form(apart from magic) until you die. Also there will be no possibility of going back to your world.
Also, one final note: should you take a female form and become pregnant, you won't be able to change your gender until the child is born, though the other aspects of your form may change (the child will change to match.) That is all, and good luck!
You realise that you have to do what the sign said to do and go through the doors and grab a costume.
Alternatively you could use the key system to determine the room

Air Creatures
You find yourself in what appears to be a glass room suspended high in the sky.
The stairs are blocked by a force field.
You realise you have to go through one of the three sky blue doors numbed 1,2 & 3.
What door do you want?
Written by Catprog on 11 February 2004
Myth Air
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are two more doors however and both of them have a sign on them saying
Costume room for
Element: Air
Type: Myth
Gender: ????
So which door do you want

Female Myth Air
You go through the door.
All of a sudden it slams shut and with no handle on this side it appears that you are stuck.
There are five costumes in this room, all of them female, all of them are myth air creatures.

Sphinx
"Great" you think to yourself looking around at various feminine outfits and costumes all over the wall. "How did I end up in the female room?"
You recall the sign at the start of the complex, and with the only way out is too wear one of the costumes and become the creature. Which means you are now destined to be a girl and some animal like creature.
So what are your options?
A pegasus , a griffon , a phoenix although that one looks like it might burn you before you get it on. A dragon, correction a dragoness, female room after all.
The last one however is the one that strikes your fancy, a sphinx. This one at least is partially human. Still you have no idea how you will fill out the 8 limbs including the wings with just your four.
You reach up and take the costume off the hanger, the other costumes rotating behind the wall , although you suspect if you returned your current one they would return to allow you to make a new choice.
Now how to put the costume on. The zipper runs along the spine of the costume. The open limbs seem to be the arms and legs of the costume.
"Well here goes nothing" you say to the empty air as your legs slip into the empty legs of the costume. Your feet being pulled up by the shape of the paws, leaving you standing on your toes.
The fake front legs of the costume dangle down as you place your arms into the costume as well. You turn behind to see the zipper moving by itself, slowly but not stopping, sealing your body into the costume.
The head is the other part of the costume that needs to go on, standing on a pedestal, mouth open showing of her teeth. You walk over , already feeling like your paws are part of your body, your movement as natural as if you were born with them.
You look into the mirror fearful that this will be the last time you see your face for a long time before putting the head over the top of yours. As the parts meet you feel and hear the seal form.
Pain, that is the first sensation when the changes begin. Your spine feels like it is being pushed down hard, the front legs providing support as you fall forward onto them. The wings burrow into your body new nerves sending messages straight to your brain, every feather feeling the wind as it rushes through them.
Wind? In a sealed room?
You look around and try to move to trace the source of the wind but the front legs are not yet ‘real’ and remain fixed to the floor. However you see the walls of the room fading. The wind seems to be only on your wings though.
The front of the costume begins to hurt quite a bit as you feel bones solidifying in the leg area, the legs becoming long and stiff, unable to be moved until the nerves set in. It is a painful process as each nerve seems to light up as they come into existence.
You feel the costume attach itself around the groin area pushing into you as the change you knew was coming since the moment you stepped into the room and saw the costumes that awaited you.
The opposite is occurring in your chest, your skin is being pulled out into the two balloons on your chest.

Dungeon
You find yourself in a cave overlooking a city.
"Where am I?" you ask.
"Welcome to the dungeon" you hear.
"Dungeon?" you ask. You look to see a bunch of humans.
"I expect you have a bunch of questions" one of them says "follow me and I will explain it to you."
Written by catprog on 09 March 2018
Explanations
They lead you out of the cave.
"The first explanation is sometimes dead humans wake up as monsters in their" the human says.
"I'm dead?" you say. "I just put a costume on and it turned me into this."
"Ok, that is a new one" the human says "do you have more information?"
Written by catprog on 13 March 2018
"No"
You shake your head "Not really"
By now you have left the cave and are overlooking the small town that surrounds the entry.
“Do you recall your name” one of the humans asks interrupting your thoughts.
Shaking your head is your response.
“That is quite common” he says “We are heading to the inn, most of the adventures will be their if you want to join us.”

To the Inn
You follow the group and they head into a building, inside is a a large amount of people.
“Everyone, we have a new resurrected. ” the human says “She does not remember her name, so you know the drill, introduce yourself and try to help her remember”
You are guided into a suitable booth and soon you are eating the soup that has been put in front of you.
The rest of the people, some human, others monster-like creatures introduce themselves and walk away disappointed that you are not their lost friend.
The last one to introduce himself is the human speaking from before. “I am Arron” he says “Do you recall your name yet?”
Written by catprog on 25 March 2018
No
“No I don’t” you say “Is it common for people to forget?”
He smiles “Most people don’t recall on the first day, others take longer, a few don’t. Do you recall the dungeon or the city at all?”
“No I am afraid not” you say.
He nods and proceeds to give you a lengthy introduction to the city and the dungeon.
“Now you look more like you want to get up close and slash the enemies then a sneaky or magic type. Do you have any preferences for how to fight?”
Written by catprog on 31 March 2018
No
“I don’t think so. ”
He nods “That is quite common too. Tomorrow you can go to the the guild and they will test you. But tonight we drink to your rebirth.”
The rest of the inn cheers at his words and the drinks flow through the night.
It takes you a bit of practice but eventually you get the hang of your new muzzle.
Before too long all the humans have passed out, along with most of the monsters.
The few remaining look close to reaching their limits and after a couple more drinks you are the only one left awake. Strangely you are not feeling even the slightest effect of the drink.
You head back out and breathe the night air in and you hear a voice calling you from the dungeon
Written by catprog on 05 April 2018
Ignore it
You turn away from the voice and look around. Your wings beat and you are soon nestled in a tree to dream the night away.
The dreams are of you fighting with a group of humans, none of which look familiar. There is shouting and you are jerked awake to find a group looking up to you.
“What are you doing up their?” Aaron says.
“It felt right.” You say stretching out the limbs before gliding down “Is their a problem with me being in the tree?”
“Well when morning came and you were not in the bar we thought you had decided to rejoin the dungeon. It was a relief to see you their so we would not have to fight you.”
You ask “What do you mean?”
“A few of the reborn decide to embrace their monster and go into the dungeon as a monster not as an adventure. Did you hear a voice?”
You nod “There was something about it though, that made me ignore it.”
“If you had followed it you would have become a monster. Once that happens we think you are gone for good”
“For good?”
“Yes we have not found anyone who has been reborn after joining the dungeon. They just seem to remain one of the bosses. Anyway we need to get you fitted out if you are to stay.”

To the Guild
Aaron takes you to another building. Inside you find many racks of weapons, armor and even wands.
“Obviously we will have to get you custom armor” he says. “But until then, try everything until you find something that works.”
You pick the first weapon and swing it at the practice dummies. The rest of the morning goes at a similar pace and you spend the rest of the day on the wands.
Finally you settle on
Written by catprog on 25 April 2018
Your Own Claws
While some of the weapons are good, nothing compares with your own claws. Aaron comes in as you practice, watching as you use both arms and all the legs to attack.
“I thought you might end up like this.” he says “The problem is the enhancements for natural weapons are a lot rarer. The upside is you don’t need to repair them, healing spells work for them”
“Would you like to go into the dungeon for real now?” he asks.
Written by catprog on 06 May 2018
Yes
You nod and soon the two of you are in the original cave. “Why are you helping me?” you ask.
“It is the rule. Any reborn are the responsibility of the group that found them, until they are settled and can handle the dungeon”
You nod before asking “Wouldn’t that lead to people trying to leave them behind?”
“You would think so but you have to remember, everyone here either has lost someone or knows someone who has. They want to see them again and so helping is a honor not a burden.”
You go through the actual dungeon entrance and find yourself at…
Written by catprog on 13 May 2018
Dusty tunnel
You look around , “With the way you were talking, I was thinking this was something special.”
He nods “This is only the top floor. The lower down you go the more spectacular the sights. This is very plain, and the monsters here are not much of a challenge. No treasure either.”
“No treasure? Then why are we here?“
He smiles “For you to defeat your first monster” before pointing to a blob.
Written by catprog on 20 May 2018
Pounce
You get your legs ready and jump off , spreading your wings to adjust the trajectory. Only for one of them to slide across the wall and causing you to stumble face first, well short of the target
“Yeah, the instincts of the form can take time to get used to.” He says smiling “Why don’t you walk to it before attacking”
You nod sheepishly and walk up to it and swipe your claws across it. A bit of the inside leaks out but now it spits at you. You feel a slight stinging sensation and respond by using your claws to pull it apart.
“So your first kill in the new body. ” a voice says in your mind “I was looking forward to using you for a boss. Next time you die I guess.”
“What was that?” you ask
“The dungeon,” Arron says “It gets inside your head, for next time you die.”
“You heard it?” you ask.
He shakes his head “Only the reborn do. It wants to use you for a boss right?”
You nod in response.
He smiles “Probably has a new floor somewhere it needs a boss for.”
“How many floors are their exactly?” you ask.
Written by catprog on 24 May 2018
Many
“No one is certain.” He says. “The main guide has 100, but some of them only appear when certain conditions are met so not all them are verified. ”
“100? How deep is it?”
“We think the dungeon actually is elsewhere. Half of the floors are above us. And some of them are accessible from above and below.”
“Are those blobs the only monster in here? Other than the bosses of course?”
“This floor is only slimes. The boss is also a slime but much harder to kill. Of course the second floors are even harder them him.”
“Floors? As in more than one?”
“Yes. Like I said before the stairs go up and down. But there is also a rotation depending on the moon. Today’s are a water based one and an air based one”
“I think I would do better on the second.”
“You would be surprised. The water is breathable. The water one though for us allows us to move up and down. The air one for most of us restricts us to long criss crossing pathways”
