You know that you don’t have a chance for survival if you refuse to cooperate with the leopard, yet to risk it anyway. And since none of you can move the body, you are forced to go through a long time of seclusion. Your psyche might be able to withstand it, but the leopard can not. Her life revolves around kinship solely, and you’ve taken that away. As a result, her life was forfeited and the costume deactivates, falling around you like shedded skin, giving your original body back.
It makes you sad staring at the wasted magical item. You had an opportunity to do something great and explore the unexplored. Not everyone would have been able to get the same chance that you found, and now you’ve just wasted it.
Hope has not abandoned you yet. Just when you think that your magical journey has utterly ended, you explored the costume room and find out that there’s another crest placed at a hidden corner of the room. It’s too dim-lighted in here, so you missed to spot it before.
Curiously you approach the crest, but find that it’s locked. You have nothing else better to do, so every day to come to check on the crest, hoping to figure out how to open it—hoping that it will contain yet another costume that can transform you to a fantastical beast.
Finally, after the hundredth try on the 14th day, you managed to open the crest. You’ve tried everything before, even overthrowing it at a fit of frustration once, and the freaking crest just magically open on the 14th day. Just like that. Unbelievable!
Excitement runs through your course just as fast, making you forget about the reason for your frustration fast. Hurriedly you push open the crest, revealing an entirely new costume inside. You pull it out and lift it under the light so you can inspect it.
