Shark
You walk up to what appears to be an empty shark skin, quite detailed for a costume. After a quick examination, it feels curously warm, and you find a hole in the back of the costume.
Curious, you stick you hand into it until you find the fin.
The costume feels like real skin but quickly tightens around you hand.
You try to pull your hand out but to no avail, and you feel you hand liquefy painfully as it shrinks into the fin, pulling you with it. The skin splits into tendrils which wrap around your body. Soon you whole chest it covered, and you right hand is fully a shark's fin, with your left quickly following.
As it reaches your legs, you feel the pulling sensation even worse as you legs shrink even more than your arms did, the bones becoming cartilage; forcing you to lie on your front. It seals up over your butt, and the once limp tail starts filling as your flesh expands into it. Soon you are left with a complete shark's tail which you move about nervously.
The skin travels up your back no, and you even feel the dorsal fin growing out of you spine; the internal changes of the skin making you feel sick. You begin to panic as the skin closes over you face, which rushes out to fill the skin. You look out from cold, dark eyes as you mouth fills with sharp teeth. You panicking reaches a climax as you realise you can no longer breath, before you are dumped into water, as if a hatch below you opened.
With relief you realise you can breath again, as you feel flaps of skin near what was once your neck sway in the current.
You feel your mind start to flood with animal instincts, which you try to fight off, wanting your humanity back. But you know it is futile, and swim off to explore your new surroundings, as well as your body.
