"Well, I don't know how well I can navigate in your streets," you point out. "Not to mention how hard it would be to get me into a house at this size. So I guess the elder will have to come here if he wants to see me."

 

"Oh, he can't see you," the leader replies. "He is blind."

 

"Really?"

 

"And pretty hard of hearing," the man next to him puts in. "We are his eyes and ears."

 

"And sometimes his hands and feet as well."

 

"Well then," you remark. "Perhaps I could be his wings?"
