You are standing by a tree
There are 3 paths.
One appears to go to a jungle,
one appears to go to a cave,
one appears to go to a beach,
you could try and climb the tree,
there is a nearby shop you could go in,
or you could do something else.
So what's its going to be?

You walk towards the cave
You go into the cave.
All of a sudden you feel a weight on your behind. You turn and manage to get a glimpse of your new tail. As you do so it hits the side of the cave and causes a cave-in. There is still light coming through however.
You watch as scales slide up your body and tail.
You feel wings come out of your back and with a sense of amazement you try them out by hovering.
You realise that you are a dragon.

Making a passage out of the cave
You crane your long, neck back, admiring the scales of your flank and the heavier, thicker, darker ones that gave way to lighter spines that run along your back in twin ridges. You rub your head with a paw, feeling the fine frills along the sides of your neck... And the tail! A tail! It swings back and forth, a powerful weight, as naturally as if you'd been born to it.
You decide that you need to get out of the cave. First you scrape at the rock with your new claws. It doesn't seem to make a difference. Suddenly you remember that you can breathe fire, as you're now a dragon. You breath fire and make a large passage out of the cave.

Trapped
You try and walk in your new form but trip over. You try again and go further before tripping. After a few more attempts you have gotten the hang of this new body.
You then walk through the passage. You get momentarily blinded by the sunlight. You find yourself trapped on the edge of a large precipices. There may be a way out of this.

and fly...
As you gaze over the edge, you see a valley far below you.
Whilst you used to fear heights, now the prospect of jumping seems inviting, and you remember your new draconian wings.
Without thinking any more, you throw yourself off the edge, spreading your wings wide. Fear grips you as you realise you are still falling, but suddenly new instincts kick in and with a powerful down beat you find your self traveling up again, you are flying now. The feeling is amazing, the power you feel in your body as the air streams past you, the trees below barely visible.
You fly for what seems like hours, but soon realise how tired you have become, and you need to stop for rest. Looking far below you, you try to find somewhere suitable.

Yonder lieth the Castle
Looking down for the first time in quite a while, you realize that you are in a wide U-shaped valley with a flat bottom and steep sides. You're not sure if you can get above the mountains, so it looks like you have to land somewhere in the valley, preferably somewhere you can take off again.
The mountain sides are sleek and smooth and don't seem to offer much in the way of footholds - unless you are a giant fly. The bottom of the valley is covered with forest - that doesn't look very good to land on either. There are some open areas, but they look too small to land on, and far too small to take off from... assuming you can take off from flat ground at all!
You have just started considering the possibility of turning back and seeing if you can reach the cave, when you spot a small castle with tall towers standing on a steep crag in the middle of the valley. Perfect! Well, good enough at least.
Wings aching from exhaustion, you circle the castle for a quick overview. There are no signs of life, with luck it's abandoned. The corner towers have sharp pointy spires and look a bit flimsy for your current bulk, but the central tower looks more sturdy and has a flat top ringed by a low wall. It's not quite big enough for you to sit or stand on, but at least you should be able to cling to the sides and rest your wings for a while.
Landing is tricky business. You realize a moment too late that you are coming in too fast, and before you have time to spread your wings you smash into the side of the tower. A blast of fire bursts out of your mouth, scorching the top of the tower. Good thing there wasn't anyone or anything flammable up here!
As you cling on to the edge with your foreclaws, gasping for air and your hindlegs scrabbling for a foothold, you discover that while the tower may be strong enough to hold your dead weight, the impact of your violent landing was a bit too much for it. As the top of the tower starts crumbling under you, you hear the sound of someone starting to scream.

The end (for now)
