The surface of the rock beneath you scrapes against your fur-clad legs as you begin to shrink down, your monstrous size diminishing quickly. However, to your disappointment, nothing besides that seems to be altering. When the tingling stops, you find yourself still in the exact same sphinx body with the exact same proportions and (unfortunately) the same embarrassingly obvious features. The only change is that you are much smaller now…perhaps the length of a tall human being.

 

Luckily, your change in size hasn’t affected your flying abilities, and you take off into the sky again. It doesn’t look like any more travelers are coming by anytime soon…and unlike a traditional sphinx, you don’t have the patience to sit on a rock and wait for them to come to you!
