After a while you hear a small voice say "is he gone?"

 

A ghost fox pops out from the wall.

 

"Hello. I can help you if you help me. I was captured by that madman and he thinks I am trapped. Well physically I am, My spirit is free. Can't really do anything though, but if you can free me I can free you"

 

"How would I free you?" you ask

 

"When he comes to get you count 15 cells and pull the lever."
