Every student needs a good teacher, especially a student of magic. You could glean more from these advanced spell books once you see how someone else understands it, maybe even get access to some new spells that you wouldn’t otherwise. Besides, it probably wouldn’t hurt to have someone with a bit more magical knowledge around when you’re still learning yourself, if only to have a counter-spell ready in case of a mishap. Settling on this course of action, you approach the elderly goat woman sitting at the main desk of the library and ask if there’s any sort of magical classes offered there.

 

“While we do stock some spell tomes, most of our classes are for less magical subjects.” She informs you. “The Mage’s Guild would be much better suited to help you with the arcane arts.” With that, she gives you directions toward the guild. With a smile and a thank you, you exit the library and follow her directions.

 

Her directions are clear, and with the additional aid of some street signs you’re able to find the guild easily enough. You ponder whether you should head in right away or do some more exploring of the town first.
