Rating 4 / 5

Rock, paper, Scissors: Shape-shifting alien learning about humans. And has to shift to relieve pain. Extreme capitalism story. Good for the character, no so much the story.

Waterborn: Not much shape shifting. only at end. Story wise, passable.

Of Bats and Atomic Bombs: Military project and aftermath on the people. Worth a read.

Breakdown: Rouge AI story. Not much shapeshifting

Not quite her:Body 'stealing' story. The differences are this one is a copier and it is sort of allowed by the original. Enjoyable and defiantly worth a read.

She's such a Nasty Morsel: Another alien spy story. Can't remember much more then that.

Baba Yaga and the Quantum Universe Theory of Shapeshfting: Enjoyable story of people who fight a dimension hopping shapeshfting darkness.

The Night of the Hunted: Mental patient, was she insane or was her story true, the story does not go into detail.

Jeb & Aces: The Mechanical Plagues: Change in perspective and a nanite shifter. Not much for shapeshifting fans here

With Hair of Teeth and Claw: A retelling of a fairy tail. Not sure ehy it is in the collection

Good Hunting: Probably the story of the collection. Chinese fox spirit, hunter and what happens to them when the magic fades due to iron rails across the land. Transformation in both world sense and the shapeshfting sense. Also a new form of magic
