While their are only a few transformational scenes , some of the highlights include a shifter being stuck in one form

The story is good, mostly dealing with the selkie being stuck on land while her pelt is held hostage

Also it is good to see kindness rewarded even if you fear the creature in question. (Or the humans who also surprise with their eventual allegiance. )

Trust is also a theme. If the groups trusted one another things may of turned out differently

While this is not a recommended read, I feel it does not fall into the category of reviewed because their was nothing better
