While the start of the story sets up a interesting world by the end of the story the number of plots have multiplied so that none of them have the focus
For instance their is an adoption plot. The mother is located and gets the lawn mowed but nothing more then that. The father is discovered late and again nothing happens
A bunch of wolf shifters are shown who stay they should only shift into wolves. This is only mentioned in passing later on.
Every possible storyline is treated the same way. A bit of an introduction and then a conclusion.
It also had the problem of a point where I could not tell two characters apart
Overall this is another skippable book. However next week for the first time in a while I have a book that I can recommend
A Tail's Misfortune: Maturity Reviews The Last Hatchling
