I tried to get through this book but it was a hard slog, I gave up at around 60% and checked the last few chapters to see if their was any improvement. Their was not
Rather then moon based the transformation is temperature based.
The story though is not good. I also have the sense of time skipping without being told.
Overall this is not a book I can recommend
