I enjoyed most of this story. The last part not so much
From a transformation POV their are some excellent descriptions of the effect of the change
The worldbuilding is excellent, it tells us just enough of how the world works.
My main problem with the story though is when characters that have just been background come in. They seem to interrupt the story and do not fit the rest of the story. (Also this is the point where sexual references come in including a small sex scene)
Would I recommend it? Yes but if the last section was reworked I would find it better
